This piece was started back in...December of 2004 I believe... I had this idea for a firey looking choker since the end of 2003... My idea was must more elegant than this turned out, but oh well. I still feel this piece is missing a lot, but I don't really know what to add. The whole thing never ended up in any how I wanted it to look. Despite all that, I am fairly happy with it. I wish photographs could capture the sparkliness of the center piece - a dichroic glass cabochon. It's really quite lovely, and it took forever for me to find it! So yeah, I just added the picot edgeing to it this year and called it done.
